About the Author. Pía Septién earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Anahuac University (Mexico), and a Master of Theological Studies and Certificate in Pastoral Administration from the University of Dallas. She is currently pursuing a /5(3). Women in the New Testament shows how the stories of women are an integral part of the Gospel and its meaning for us. It also conveys how we can respond to the challenge these women represent, whether we are men trying to understand or women trying to find our voices within the tradition of faith found in the New Testament.4/5(3).

In Women of the New Testament, Pia Septien presents eleven women who encountered the living God. Some knew him personally and spoke with him, like Mary Magdalene or the sisters, Martha and Mary. Others, like Elizabeth, recognized him as God even before he was born.4/5(1). The New Testament contains accounts of over 50 women and their interactions with Christ and the early Church. With beautiful artwork, charts, historical information, and study tools, this book delves into the lives of these faithful women and shows God’s great love for them and their great role in His plan.5/5(1).

Eventually I will put together a study guide for the women of the Old Testament, like I have for the women of the New Testament and the women of the Book of Mormon. Until then I hope this list is helpful for your scripture study. I also have lists on all the women in the New Testament and Book of Mormon women on my blog as well. Women in the New Testament shows how the stories of women are an integral part of the Gospel and its meaning for us. It also relays how we can respond to the challenge these women represent, whether we are men trying to understand or women trying to find our voices within the tradition of faith found in the New Testament.
